How about if I send you some screenshots of the configuration first and see whether we can resolve it this way?
I think it may just be a case of adding the download archive Zoo item to the 'extra filter' box within the Content Statistics module I have added but as I said, I'm not sure what to put in there to record this information and don't have direct access to my SQL db.

Also, we have 6 separate instances of the download archive on our site and would only like to show the stats for one of these. Again, just which users have accessed which items from the specified download archive and when.
