Ability to sort all entries by hitcount, or view total hits

Hi guys,

I was wondering if there was any kind of functionality to record the total hits of each document from the list-view. (content_stats1.jpg)
It's possible to view total 'hits' by clicking the document and viewing the rowcount (content_stats2.jpg), but we were wondering if it was possible to have any similar kind of functionality from list view.

Also, would it be possible at all to be able to sort all documents by popularity? Something like Most Viewed to Least Viewed?

Hello Joel,

no, there's no display of the total hits, as you describe it. that would require to be customly coded into the extension.
there's not sort by popylarity either in that view... (that result can be achieved with our Rankings module, tho)

Would you be able to provide any more info regarding the Rankings module?
Did this need to be installed separately? Was it already included?

If you had a link to it that you could provide, that would be extremely helpful.

yes the rankings module is already included. it's a MODULE, which you can install and configure to show the "top" of any kind you want..
it's available on your My Downloads area.

With the ranking module installed, we now have a clear view of the most popular downloads, which was the problem we had earlier.
