Hi,

I just bought your extension. First of all, you made a component with lots of capabilities, thanks for that. However I am disappointed with lack of proper documentation on it. You would accept that a component which costs 39 euros and has this much features, plugins and add-on needs "more than just 7 pages" of documentation. I hope you add more documents.
I want to define some conversion levels.
1) first would be awarded for each person who reaches the website using the affiliate link (sth like Google adsense account). let's say each person who come to the website would award the related affiliate 1$.
2) each person who finds us by an affiliate and register into the website would have 2$ reward for his affiliate
3) using akeeba subscription, we have defined several subscription plans and each of them has its own percentage as commission for the affiliate. I have installed and enabled the provided plugin for akeeba subscription. I don't know where I can add these parameters. I just found one place to add commission percentage which was the default settings for the whole affiliate tracker component.
It would be appreciated if you please guide me on these questions

Thanks,

    Hello,

Thanks for supporting our extension. We will work in adding more documentation.

    1. that would mean to actually create a conversion for every log. there's no such direct conversion in the plugin, this would need to be added into the main tracking plugin.

    2. you can do that with our "Users" plugin. in the plugin parameters you can define how much the affiliate receives for every registration.

    3. yes, that's because the comission percentage is defined at the ACCOUNT level for each affiliate (in other words, it does not depend on the plan, it depends on the affiliate.. for example, affiliate A receives a comission fo 10%). if you need different comissions for different plans (and for different affiliates...) then this would require coding into the plugin, it cannot be achieved out of the box.

    Thanks for your reply,

Regarding the question number 1, I believe if you can add this feature in your next updates, it would be an advantage for you software. You may confirm that adding this feature, saving logs will add much more meaning.
For question number 2 and 3, I got your instruction. This works, however as a suggestion, If you define your plugins in a way that it completely integrates with akeebasubs it would have more functionality. for example, I have two subscription levels there in a way that "level A" has a worth of $300 and "level B"'s value is $10. Indeed, these two may have not the same commission for an affiliate. level A needs its own conversion type and level B needs its own as well.
To sum up, I suggest you to add another option in your component that we can define conversion types manually first, and then for each affiliate account add an option to define how much commission is going to be paid for each conversion type. This increases controllability of the system significantly.
You have prepared such good and effective components that forced your customer to add his feedback for improvements. ;)

    Thanks and bests

    hello!

    1. yes its a good idea. we'll work to add this in a future update.

I love your feedback, thanks a lot! your ideas are most welcomed. yes, adding the comission setting at a "subscription" level would be nice, but it's not as easy to do as it may look like.. but we will definitely work on having that to give more power and configuration options :)
