Im sorry. It was late and I was a little short on details. On my site (which is not live but can be linked if needed) when i open the form to upload a new album from the frontend, the link to add an artist does not do anything when clicked.

well, that makes no sense.. you have the "non-community" version of Music Collection, therefore you should not have the option to upload new albums from the frontend! you should not even be able to create that particular menu item...

interesting... I was under the impression it was supposed to be the community version. I checked my paypal statement and in-fact I have not paid for the community version. I see I can upgrade. Will that fix my problem?

yes it would fix the problem, however it still makes no sense... in your version, there are no such menu item possibilites.. how is it possible that you would create them? did you have any previous pirate version installed on the site or something?
I really don't understand how you can have these menu items in the site..

So I have upgraded. Uninstalled all previous files from music collection and reinstalled. "Add a New Artist" link in the Upload Album form still does not function.

ok I found the issue, it's just a little javascript failure. can you open the file /components/com_muscol/assets/validate.js
and simply delete its content?

Did as you've suggested and cleared my site cache. Unfortunately the link still does not function.
