Hello,
I have a big problem with JWplayer : it doen't work with Internet Explorer. I tried the different versions of the player on the plugin with this results depending on the navigator :

JWplayer version 7.4.2
Firefox and Chrome : Works, but with an ugly skin (squares instead of icons, see attached file). But this is not the main problem.
IExplorer : Doesn't work. Error message : "Setup timeout error : setup took longer than 30 seconds to complete."

JWplayer version 7.12.11
Firefox, Chrome and IE : Doesn't work. Error message : Error setting up player : Invalid license key.

JWplayer version 8.0.5
Firefox, Chrome and IE : Doesn't work. Error message : "Error loading player : Network error".

I guess and I hope it is just a problem of licens API key but I couldn't solve it. It tried every key proposed on JWplayer site (see attached file) : Default key - secret - JWreporting credentials, secret. No way to make it work.

Please help. I really enjoy MusicCollection, it fits well on my site and I spent time on it, but without the player it gest totally useless.
Kind regards...

Hello ! I don't know if you did anything about the problem with IExplorer... Personnaly I didn't touch the site for days and now it works.
May be API key needs time to be validated... ?
Anyway the problem is solved.
Thanks, have a nice day.

I didn't do anything. As mentioned before, with the default API, the JWplayer will work in all browsers...

    glad it is working! :)

    hi

use the 7.4.2 version with the key we provide.

the squares are probably because you're using the extension in a web subfolder, and you have to input this info in the file /plugins/muscolplayers/jwplayer/mc_subfolder.js as explained here: https://www.joomlathat.com/documentation/music-collection/installation

about IE, what version are you using of IE?
