Germ. This has been going on for a while now and i deiced to renew my subscription so you can handle it.
I have recently RE-INSTALLED the MC component.
I have it all set up and added in plenty of content to be able to test things.
But theres a couple of problems
1. DISCOGS SEARCH BUTTON DOES NOTHING
When i type in "anything" in the search field and click SEARCH ON DISCOGS, nothing happens.
No page refresh
No results load at bottom
No error appears
just absolutely nothing
DId i set up the discogs api = Yes
Did i use the appropriate Auth token / Secret / Key = Yes. I even tried in different combinations to make sure i wasnt getting it wrong.
2. SONGS MODULE ISSUE
I am using the "Songs" module on the MC Home page to show a list of latest SONGS added to the system. Most of the time the module TITLE shows up but nothing appears below it and i have to refresh the page a couple times. Refreshing it again makes that disappear. Seems to be a cache issue

I am seeing 3 errors appear whenever you look at a SONG in an album.
Error 1:
Undefined property: ArtistsViewSong::$album in /xxx/xxx/xxxx/xxxx/antifmradio.com/components/com_muscol/views/song/tmpl/default_header.php on line 33
Error 2:
Trying to get property 'name' of non-object in /xxx/xx/xx/htdocs/antifmradio.com/components/com_muscol/views/song/tmpl/default_header.php on line 33
Error 3:
Trying to get property 'id' of non-object in /xx/xx/xxx/xxxx/antifmradio.com/components/com_muscol/views/song/tmpl/default_chronology.php on line 22
I have no edited ANY of the system / plugin / or module files.

Germinal Campsmore than a month agoin newer versions of PHP, if a variable is not pre-defined but is used, it shows a Notice (not really an error). It's more like a "best practices" warning - although it has no effect on functionality.
Since you have the warning report level set high, those Notices were showing on the page.

Ok so initially when i looked it seemd to work.
I went to the last album i created BEFORE you made chages. That links is here and it seems to have removed the problem

Thanks very much for correcting my issue with DISCOGS keys. Apparently it was my fault. I wasnt REQUESTING the keys correctly.
It works now.
Ok so now we need to correct the issue of the PHP errors showing up on SONG view.
To replicate
This is an ALBUM:

As you can see there are no errors showing on the page
Now click on ANY one of the SONGS to that album

According to my Discogs API area. NOTHING is authorized to access my profile (But this shouldnt matter because i have nothing in my Discogs profile)
with that being said. Is this Discogs thing not working because i have nothing added to my discogs collection?
Do i need to have a collection?

0Thanks for your help with the Discogs issue Germ but for some reason its still not working.
I deleted all previous APIs
created a new Token
which created all new Keys and Secret instances.
I added them to the config but still got no action when clicking the button,
Im still back to the same position "Nothing happens when i click SEARCH" So i left you another PM
Also lets not forget about the errors showing up on SONG and ALBUM view which are described above
AND
Theres that CACHE issue on the MC home page where "ALBUMS" is blank sometimes and i need to refresh the make items show up -
