Emailing invoices and Creating PDFs from back end

0
When I click the email button ion the back end admin panel, an email is sent but there is no invoice attached. The email address and subject are correct but no invoice, the receiver simply gets a blank email.
Is there a way to create PDFs from the back end? If not how much would it be to have this developed for our system privately?

ah..! this error can occur if you're not using our latest version.
what's your installed version? (and most importantly, when did you install it?)

    hello,

the invoice should not be "attached", but simply included in the email.
    have you changed the templates?

the PDFs can be already created from the backend.. you can't do it?

Yes the templates had been changed when we upgraded recently - not sure how or why but not that I have reset them they are working fine.
I cannot create a pdf, I can "view the invoice online" which opens in a new browser. I can then go to print and save it as a pdf but this is a rather cumbersome way of doing it - it would be useful to have a "create pdf" button.
I have a few more suggestions that I'll put in the right forum!
    Thanks
    Simon

No- we don't have a front end - we run it solely from the back end/admin panel

it occurs to me.. maybe you just haven't installed our PDF extension?
all the time I asumed it was installed, but maybe the problem is that it just isn't. please read this: http://www.joomlathat.com/documentation/invoice-manager/installation
    (the third part).
    have you uploaded the DomPDF?

No I haven't- that'll be why. Looking at your installation instructions, where would I find /components/com_invoices/helpers/ folder

Ok Got it all installed- nice and easy, but it's not creating PDFS, the icon is there but it simply leads to a blank page. We run PHP 5.4.1 so Magic Quotes is not an issue. Any ideas?

the blank page, does it show any error? what if you turn error reporting ON on the joomla global configuration? (this way we may be able to see the actual error)
