Difference between payment and invoice

Hello,

i dont undurstand the difference between invoices and payment ?

Because, i can specyfy a due date in the invoice, but i have to specyfy again in the payment ?
Why there is invoice and payment ?

    Hello

    An invoice can contain MULTIPLE payments. for example, you may want to split the invoice in multiple payments, so your client can pay over time in different phases. that's what payments are for.

    In most cases you will use just 1 payment for the invoice, but you have the possibility to have more, if you want.

    OK, thank you, now it is clear for me.

    So, if i have ONE invoice for an annual subscription, but the client want to pay one time per month, i can create 12 payments.

    Is it possbile to send automatically the invoice by email monthly ?

    yes you can create 12 payment. However, no, it's not directly possible to send an email every month...
