Simple total Content Statistic Report

0
Hi JoomlaThat Team

I already subscribed to your Content Statistic extension for Joomla but a little bit disappointed regarding my main purpose of using this extension.
I thought there will be a content statistic report, not the complex one but only display Total Article by Category per Month.

Example:
Category A: 5 17
Category B: 3 9
Category C: 4 3
Month JAN FEB

It shoud be display in a graphical graph. Is there anyway that I can produce this report using your extension.
I got confused when you name the extension as Content Statistic, it should be Content Views/Logs Statistic.

Please help.

Thanks

    Hello,

You can create such graphic with our "Compare" evolution in time module.

You can define 3 data sets (like in your example), and set the time axis to display "months". this way you will have the 3 graphic lines, one for each category, displaying how many clicks per month they have. Do you know what I mean?

if you require help setting this up, let me know.

    Thanks for the reply.

Actually, I want to display how many post each month by category, not the hits or views value. Just the total number of article.

    Any solution?

Well you can do this if you use the option "Article creation" as the "content criteria" in the module. this considers "new articles added" (not article views), so it would show you how many articles were added each particular month... is that what you're asking?

Ho do I get the "Article creation" option?
It only display "Article views" & "Category views" only. Are there any additional module to be installed?

Sorry you're right, this option was disabled on the module options.
Please, download version 1.4.7 of the plugin and install it, you will now have the option of "article creation"

    thanks!

I search for the plugin but don't know which one that you refer from the last reply.
On My Download page, there only one plugin available - Content Statistic.
Please specific the link or file to download.

    Thanks
