well, that's weird... we haven't had issues with that plugin before.
if you disable the plugin, the system works?

I did several tests. The problem is with the plugin New affiliate for new user - Affiliate Tracker

No. User K2 was enabled, but I now I disabled and remains the same.

this is strange.. are you using any special plugin or method for user registration in your joomla website?
