Some other issue i came upon. example see http://www.rapsearch.com/mixtapes/h.html and check the urls to the albums and artists...they miss the http part and go dead.

Where do i set this?

1- there's no setting for this, but you can get ride of the search bar on top on the file /components/com_muscol/views/artists/tmpl/default_letterbar.php

you just need to set the var:

$big_bar = true;

2- as for the links going dead, make sure you have installed correctly the SYSTEM plugin, and that this plugin is on the LAST position of your plugins list (as stated on the installation instructions...)

Can you share your light on the facebook comment issue? It might not have been clear but in the screen the facebook comments are not showing up.

As addon (i could not find where to edit my previous post.) a new attachment with 3 questions in them. The sample url is http://www.rapsearch.com/mixtapes/w/341-willie-the-kid.html

And finally... (so question 5...)

at the same url when you press the 'willie the kid' tag... nothing really happens? It opens the search but not with the specific tags

about he FB comments issue.. is it possible that you have some other script on the website (plugin, template...) that is loading FB comments itself? I think the code may be conflicting.. maybe JS compression in your template is affecting this...

about the TAG, it seems something is not working there.. I will take a look on my end.

- to increase image size, you can use CSS...
- the image on top is supposed to be on blur. this is because you have not added any COVER image.
cover images will be displayed in full resolution. otherwise (like in your case), it will use the same image as on the left, and blur it.
anyway if you want to un-blur it, you can do with by removing CSS. on album.css line 394 you can remove this property
be carefull in your site as you have CSS compression...

-to make the URL cut the size, you can do it with CSS too... you just have to add a property "overflow-x: hidden;" to that tag...

About the facebook issue. I do not use the comments option anywhere. I do use facebook login by JFBConnect... can that cause a conflict?
I tested with plugin scriptmerge turned off and my CDN off so there is no compression of JS or css at all but it still not working for me

yes it looks like it's conflicting somehow.
you see, the Db plugin needs a DIV with id="fb-root", which the plugin itself contains.
however, if you look at the source code of your site, there's the same DIV right at the beginning of the BODY of the page.
so, there are two of them. that's what causing the conflict.

you would need to get ride of this first one... maybe it's added by your template... this would be my guess...

Other thing that came up: the review field. In many cases this field is empty but it still shows. (sample: http://www.rapsearch.com/mixtapes/d/1941-dem-guyzz-eternall/5729-dem-guyzz-eternall-perceptions-deceptions.html)

Is there a way this can be set to only show when there is content?

you can add a condition for it to render, in file /components/com_muscol/views/album/tmpl/default_review.php

JFBConnect uses the newer sdk.js Facebook javascript library onto the page.

you see the artist image. In the past tese images were resized but now this image is cut off, all my artists are missing parts of their head

I would like my original image to show, or being resized to match the new heigth/width.

You mentioned before that that was css work but i was able to make some fit but not all my original images, so i'm kinda stuck there

The system is coming together nicely I just came upon an issue with individual song downloads. When a logged in member clicks the link nothing happens, it goes to a dead url (page not found)

well the problem is some modifications that you have made...
I can see that the songs are being pointed to another website (songs.rapsearch instead of directly rapsearch)
that's a modification you have made and it's what's causing the problem...

Correct me if i'm wrong but hosting the song files elsewhere is a default setting in your script?? I never touched anything there. The modification i did to this new version are just some templates and a change in the upload process, nothing else...

Some other thing... on www.rapsearch.com/mixtapes.html i use the module 'Music Collection Search Bars' to search the albums but when i enter for example 'dmx' it loads a blank page with no results. its the box at the right side.

I looked and see no item id i should enter or anything. What am i missing?

The tags do show results now Thanks! If possible please pm me the adjustment you've do to what file as i keep a log of all changes to the system for future reference

Finallly.. the search module... i see NO results anymore except the results where i've entered tags..lol..

try a search for 'skooly' = tagged listing and DMX is no tags yet... if you search the last nothing will show even though there are many dmx listings and they did show up before you've 'fixed' the tags issue.

the change is made in file helpers.php

I have added this change to our official release too.
