ajax and xammp

I am working on a new site with the new music collection (loving the new look)

On my live server all is working fine but not on localhost with xampp maybe some setting I cant find?
So simply my question is how to get ajax working on my localhost?

you just need to set the subfolder, like /site for example.

    make sure you have installed the SYSTEM plugin and configured it... http://www.joomlathat.com/documentation/music-collection/installation

    Ahh that could be it do I need a direct link in it?
    Its now empty the way it is on my live and live test site.
    something like : localhost\site\songs
