can't see the screenshot... you're migrating to the same joomla version, same template, etc..?

well, from the screenshot, what is happening is simply some ERROR that is thrown by the system, and th page doesn't completely load.

I suggest you to enable error reporting on your site and you will see which error it is and therefore know how to solve it.

most likely it's just one file that didn't get uploaded correctly, or some issue on the DB, etc.

probably the settings on your server are not the same as in your localhost environment (PHP version, MySQL version, error reporting level, etc)

or better still how can I completely uninstall music collection and everything that comes with it. Because I have tried that option by just uninstalling the component and after reinstalling everything seems to re appear including the artists and albums created

you can simply go to Extension manager and uninstall if that's what you need.. but really I don't think that's necessary. if you enable the error reporting, you will see the error (something like.. "file XX is missing". then you will uplod the file and it will just work.

I have cleared system cache and front works but now the back end as well. This is what I see when I click on components from the backend

this is a public forum, you may want to not share the access to the website here...

in any case, I solved it, it was just a problem with the thumbnails. a couple of the images you had were aparently damaged. so I simply removed them. try to upload them again.
