Tags? can you explain?

Hi All..

Just wondering how tags are working in MC. I have put tags within the artists view like genre, country etc.
I thought if I would search on those I would get a list with all artists with the same tag (genre), but that doesn't work?

I also put the same tags in the Joomla tag section, dont know if that is mandatory?

Answering my own question so anyone with same question knows the answer witch worked for me.

To get the tags working in MC I needed to get the tags I created in MC, also created in Joomla tag system itself.
Maybe very obvious to some but that wasn't obvious for me..

    no, it has nothing to do with joomla tag system.

    I'm not sure to understand what you're saying.. are you talking about tags or genres?

    Sorry if I did not made self clear... try again.

    I have put tags at the artists view. (screenshot)
    I thought that if i would do a search on AUS on front page all artists with AUS would come out of the search request.
    Or if I search on Hardrock every artist with this tag would come out as an result.
    But nothing happens at all?

    Hopefully I made my self clear this time.

    no, the tags are not counted on the "free text" search box, but actually in the "tags" option box...
