Hi there,

I seem to be getting to no page when clicking on the "Pay now" link on the emailed invoice. This did work before. Any idea?

Thx

I have figured out why the link is not working, but don't know how to fix this. Basically the invoice generated will include a "Pay now" button with the following URL: http://www.domain.co.za/http://www.domain.co.za/index.php?option=com_invoices&view=payment&id=14

So it seems that the domain name is prefixed on the normal link created.

this is certainly strange. something in your joomla configuration must be prepending this to the URL.

in any case, if you want to provide me FTP access I'll try to figure it out and fix it.

Also, my understanding it that a pdf version of an invoice/quote is to be attached automatically to emails sent from this system. If so, in my case this is not the case.

Solved the URL issue. I did a copy and paste from your Bootstrap Invoice Template code, which had a "/" in it (
My only outstanding question is related to the attachment of a pdf copy of the invoice with the email sent to the client. Please advise.

oh.. so that was it! I didn't understand why you had this issue because with the standard template code that would not happen... good job!

to attach a PDF, you need to:
    1. enable that option in Invoice Manager Options.
    2. make sure you have a writtable folder called /pdfinvoices in your site's root.

I have both as suggested configured before, but still no luck. I did read through all previous posts and made changes as suggested.

Should I leave the tmp folder as per the default installation?

I am still not able to attached a pdf invoice to emails sent from the system.

I have activated the option to attach the pdf
I have created both the temp folder and pdf folders at suggested with permissions set

The pdf invoice can be created and downloaded, but still does not attach the the email.

the path of the folder for the invoices is wrong. you put the entire path (/home... etc)

it had to be only "tmp"
