Invoice Pay Now link doesn't work Issue

Hi,
I sent myself a test invoice and I noticed that the link at the bottom of the invoice ("Pay Now") doesn't work.
When I copy the link I get something like this:

x-msg://354/http://mybestwebsiteexample.com/index.php?option=com_invoices&view=payment&id=23

Once I take out the line before the url (x-msg://354/), the link works fine.
How can we fix this?

Thank you for your support.:)

this looks like something (maybe your email service?) is adding this weird prefix to the URL.

what happens if you open with a different email service?

Do you mean using a different email application like Thunderbird or Gmail?
If that is what you ask, yes, we tried, same problem. The prefix seems to be added at the point of delivery (our website, using Invoice Manager), and the Pay Now link does nothing if you click on it.

ok well then it's your email sending system...

it's not Invoice Manager adding it, for sure. You must have some middleware (some layer "in between" that is pre-processing the emails and adding this.

any idea what it may be?

I do not know what happened, I created a new invoice and the link is now working...
I can tell you we tried at least half a dozen times before without luck.
We hope it will stay on! :)

Thank you for your kind support.

Ok, we just sent another invoice and the problem returned. :(
We will try with the firewall disabled and will let you know the results.

    Thanks.

We found that the regular "invoice" works fine.
