0I have the latest version from expenses. That means there is a ACL access from frontend. Each registered User can create his own Budget and then hies expenses.
The website is a wedding website. The user can register and than can Create all his expanses for his wedding.
For example he create a Budget with 10000 EUR. Than he add an expens for 1000 EUR. After he want to change this from 1000 EUR to 2000 EUR or what ever.
At the moment this feature dont work. -

0Hello again,
If you go to the component configuration and then to the permissions tab, there you can manage the ACL.
If you want that registered users can create and edit the items you need to set the configuration as shown in the screenshot attached.
Once the configuration is saved, the registered users will see a pencil icon on the left of each item they created to edit them.
Please, tell me if that solved your question,

0Hello!
On 15 July we updated Expense Manager by adding a field inside the options of the component to set the default % VAT that you want for the new items.
If you download and reinstall Expense Manager you will have the new functionality.
Note that as I modified the file /yoursite/components/com_finances/assets/styles.css to make the edit icons appear, if you reinstall the component you need to do the following:
1. Copy the file I modified to somwhere on your computer.
2. Reinstall Expense Manager
3. Copy back to the server the file I modified to replace the one that Expense Manager installation have installed.
You need to do this to keep the custom changes I made for you to make the edit icons appear.
If you need help with that tell me and I will help you.
Thank you,
Joan -

0Hello again I have install the Statistics.
In this case I want to have statistic for the Budget.
I become the statistic but I have one color for each part.
How can I have different colors?
To see this you have to login first as a user from frontend.
Then go to tools/my Budget
I send you in your email a test account. -

0Hello I have the Problem that my customer want to have the Donut chart or something other with the follow funktionality.
The website is a weeding planner. One of the tasks is to calculate the budget. That means the user put his budget and make some payments.
For example he have the budget 10.000,- EUR and he have payments about 6.000,- EUR.
So ha must have a chart that start with the 10.000,- EUR and the user can see the payments from 6.000,- EUR and also the 4.000,- EUR from the difference.
Can you please tell me if this compination is possible with statistic component. And if is not what can we do? Sorry for my insistence but I have spend allready a lot of time to my project with wedding planner and I can't any more. Please find for me a solution to this problem. You have allready the login for the website. -

0Hello!
Basically what you need is the "budget" tool, which is not part of Expense Manager (there's no place to include a "budget" figure)
Once this is built, then the statistics tool could be adapted to show that information, but the issue you have is that such info "does not exists".
do you know what I mean?
it would require a bit of custom coding work to add some kind of new "budget" feature into Expense Manager. -
