Module is not picking up K2 category with children categories

I am creating a ranking module that would rank out K2 items based off the number of hits. I have created the module with the following parameters:

Content Provider: com_k2 (com_k2)
Content Criteria: Top viewed Articles
Selector: SPECIFIC category and children categories
Specific ID filter: 51 (the K2 item category we would like to see the item rankings for).

The resulting graph only shows us 2 items from months ago and it only shows that they have 2 and 3 hits respectively. Can you help me?
