Hi,
I moved my web to my cl¡ent's hosting. I have one CS module in the homepage (ranking) and a specific statiscts page. Home page takes about 28 secs to load and the specific statistics page some 32 secs. This does not happen in my hosting, so I think this might have to do with some hosting/server settings or requirements which are not being met. Is there anything I should look at? Any particular server requirements?
Can see the web on its new hosting at http://www.pasosonline.org and the specific statistics page on http://www.pasosonline.org/la-revista/estadisticas
In my hosting: http://iturcorg-cp54.webjoomla.es/pasosonline
and .../la-revista/estadisticas for specific statistics page.
Thanks in advance,
Juan

this is of course not normal.. but also the module you have is very small, so it makes no sense it takes that long..

the DB structure is the same? DB tables are indexed the same way? can you check the versions of MySQL in both cases?

    Hi Germinal,
I understand everything is the same regarding the DB structure, as I have not changed anything. I just compressed the web at source hosting and decompressed at destination hosting.
    Versions of mysqls are
source hosting (where things run ok): 5.1.70
    destination hosting: 5.5.23

I do not know how to ensure whether db structure and indexing way are or not the same.
With SobiPro system check I find that at source hosting

    Los procedimientos MySQL están disponibles
    Las vistas MySQL están disponibles

    whereas at destination hosting

Los procedimientos MySQL no están disponibles
Las vistas MySQL no están disponibles

Don't know whether this may be affecting or not

thanks in advance for your help,
    Juan

    Hello Juan,

the only way I can try to figure out is to have access to the DB and FTP and Joomla and try to make a little debugging..

    Hola Germinal,
¿te envío los datos a la cuenta de soporte que usé en anteriores ocasiones?
    Saludos,
