Hi,

in module Content Statistics (COMPARE EVOLUTION IN TIME) i have set affiliatetracker as Content provider and as Content criteria Number of Conwersions, my Selector is ALL conversions and Filter by viewing user is set to "No", no other settings for Content provider 1.

Why on front I dont have any data on graph from other Affiliate tracker accounts/users?

best regards,
m.

    hello!

you will see the data if you're logged in as an affiliate (and you will see data only for this affiliate as it is logical, the data from other affiliates is private)
    is that what you ask?

    Thanks

No, I'm login as super user and I have to see all conversions from all accounts.

    Options in module:
    Content provider - com_affiliatetracker
Content criteria - Number of Conversions
Selector - ALL coversions (Equivalent to NO FILTER)
Filter by viewing user - NO - for what is it ?

    and

Specific ID filter - Could I use it for "atid" filter ?
Filter by specific user (write user ID) - for what is it ? I'm trying to filter with this for specific user without success.
Extra filters - any info ?

I'm expecting see all conversions in time. What is wrong? And if I don't understand something, please describe me how this options work, please (ad docs you don't have any info). I spend with this today 3h... without success. 8/ Your docs... is a final version of docs for commercial product ? Maybe something is wrong, because nothing work like described?

    Bestr regards,m.

    Hello,

the "Filter by viewing user" does not apply here (for affiliate tracker), it's for other content providers in content statistics.

all what you describe is CORRECT, with one exeption: in the frontend, you will ONLY see results (graphs) from your affiliate accounts.
if you want to see "all conversions from all users", as a super user, you need to create the graphic in the backend (a backend module), which you can place in the affiliate area.

In the frontend it will always be "filtered" to show only results for the logged in user (even if you're a super user). it's meant to be like that, for security reasons.

basically you need to do the same as you did (you did everything ok), but in a "administration area" module.

by the way, if you're displaying only one data set (conversions in this case), you should use the module "evolution in time" instead of "compare evolution in time"

this article tells you positions in which you can place the modules in the backend: http://www.joomlathat.com/documentation/affiliate-tracker/graphic-reports

if you need any help setting this up, I'll be more than glad to give you a hand with it.

    Best,
    Germi

OMG... I have to display this with specific content on front, backed display is unusefull for me. 8(

Yes, I want use compare module because 8))) I want compare it with others graphs from other content providers, if it will work - now I know it isn't. 8(

    Conclusion is:
Filter by viewing user - NO - don't work on front - only backend.
Specific ID filter - don't work for anything - example atid filtering? - Could You answer ?
Filter by specific user (write user ID) - don't work on front - only backend.
Extra filters - any info ? - Could You answer ?

    Thank You for fast answer.

    hello m,

well, if you want to display this in the frontend, we can make a small code modification on the plugin that would allow to list all this info ONLY to super users.. (it cannot be done out of the box, it does require a few code tweaks).

    to answer your questions:

Filter by viewing user - NO - (it does work on frontend, but it does not apply to affiliate tracker)
Specific ID filter - don't work for anything - example atid filtering? - Could You answer ? (not for affiliate tracker, indeed)
Filter by specific user (write user ID) - don't work on front - only backend. (works on frontend too, but again, not for AT, it's not necessary)
Extra filters - any info ? - Could You answer ? - only used in very particular cases, again, for other extensions. Not for AT.

Thank You, I know this article... but it don't contain information like "but it does not apply to affiliate tracker" or "not for affiliate tracker" or "works on frontend too, but again, not for AT..." - it's a problem.

Thank You for your help. I will think about hack.

    Best regards,m.

ok! just a clarification: it's not that these fields "don't work with AT", it's just that they are not necessary, and therefore they are not used.

    8) contentstatistics it's a very nice component with infinity capability to compare in time many data from many sources using modules, module has Joomla ACL etc... I think it is user decision something is necessary or not to compare it. In my opinion true is You are leaving unusefull, active fields in module contentstatistics configuration after choosing com_affiliatetracker. Users like me spending time on playing with this.

thanks for the suggestion, we will see if it's possible to "block" some fields (depending on configuration) to leave them unactive and avoid confusion (and/or add some explanation text next to them, maybe)

    thanks!
