Hi there,
I recently purchased Content Statistics and the Date filter option doesn't work, neither does the reset button.
Is there a fix available for this issue?

UTC is fine. Just use the "adjust data showing timezone" to adjust your data stream so it will show up correct for you (if -5 gives you a wrong time, then you should not have it to -5.. use the number that gives you the right output)

    Hello,

Can you check the javascript console of your browser to see if there are any errors there?

    Thank you,
    Joan

    Hello again,

The errors being showed have nothing to do with Content Statistics, apparently, your template is causing them.

About the date filter, the problem is that the mini calendar to pick the date is not appearing?

    Hi there,
When I put a date range in for example 2016-05-09 - 2016-05-10, it only shows 2016-05-09 and not 2016-05-10.
Another example 2016-05-12 - 2016-05-12 shows no entries but shows entries for this date when the date range isn't used.
Let me know if you have any other questions?
    Thanks

    Hello again,

when you put a range from 2016-05-09 to 2016-05-10, this means that the entries that will be shown are those between 2016-05-09 at 00:00 until 2016-05-10 at 00:00.

This is equivalent to show only the entries for the day 2016-05-09.

    Could it be a missunderstanding?

    Hi there,
Please take a look at the attached. Date range set from 2016-05-11 to 2016-05-17 but it starts off from 2016-05-10.

    Hello!

I believe we discussed this previously over the email...
this "timezone" issue you're having seems to be related to the server timezone configuration.

with the "stream" view option, this should be solved. If you could provide FTP access, I would be able to perform a quick fix on the "normal" view, otherwise, if you can just wait a little bit, I will create a new package with the adjustable hour option for the "normal" view, so you don't have this issue.

    Hi there,

Ok I tried adding our timezone to the php.ini file by adding date.timezone = "Canada/Eastern" but still didn't work. See php.ini file attached.

Also discovered the Country, State, City doesn't work consistently. I'm based in Toronto, Ontario Canada and its showing United States, California, Menifee as my location but the previous entry is showing correctly. See attached.

    hello,

no, the timezone should not be configured in the php.ini, but in Joomla global configuration, in the backend.

as for the geolocation, please have in mind that this is based on a free-database geolocation provider and the accuracy is not perfect...

ok. well you definitely need the time adjusting setting for that view (which currently is available only for "stream view").
I will add this into the package and publish an update.

will let you know when it's done.

    Hi there,

Should I update Content Statistics with the latest version by deleting it entirely and re-installing or is there another way?

no, you can just install the new version on top of the old one (just the component)

    hello

looks like you're using the FTP layer of joomla and the error is coming from there... should not have anything to do with our extension..
if you disable that layer, does it work?

Its showing the wrong time. What should the timezone be set to in Global Configurations / Server / Location Settings. I currently have it set to Universal Time Coordinate.
Under Content Statistics I have it set to 'View for backend interface' Default and 'Adjust data showing timezone' -5.
