Yay, it worked... any chance of changing the position of the "add event" or the layout (it is rather long and narrow) so that the save button will show without the need for the css change that you advised previously to another client?

Also, I insert the "event time announcer" link from timeanddate.com as http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/personal.html?msg=1&iso=20140730T00&p1=240 for example. After I save then go back and open the event it renders https. This gives a warning message. I can deal with this as its simply a matter of editing the url in the url entry window of my internet, but most others will be put off by this.

I am not sure if this is a global configuration issue. Can you please tell me where I might check so I can change it to not auto change the http to https?

    Hello Sandra,

as for the "add event" thing, I recommend you to re-download the component and reinstall. We just made a few CSS changes to it that make it look better

I'm not sure to understand your second question tho.. what does have timeanddate.com have to do with Calendar Planner?

if you can point me to your site to see the issue I'll be glad to take a look.

    Thanks Germinal,

My site is https://the-rune-lounge.com and the menu link is Event Calendar - TBC

I have attached screenshots too - my situation is rather unique as this site is a fan-site for an online multi-player game and the events are virtual, with the games time set to United Kingdom, London - therefore the feature that attracted me to this was the simplicity plus the url feature, so that people can click on it and get the timeanddate.com Event Time Announcer.

that's weird. my guessing is that there must be something on your joomla installation that is changing the "http" to "https". maybe a plugin you have installed? or some SEF configuration? is there something you think may be causing this?

Hi I worked out it could be due to an admin tools setting for the changing of http into https
