A Few Pre Purchase Questions

Hi Germinal

Can you answer for me please the following:

1. If I take the Professional Affiliate Tracker & Content Statistics plan can my affiliates be multi tiered?
2. What are the backend modules and how important are they?
3. Can you tell me what the "backend component for complete activity log reports" is? Is the content statistics more detailed?

Thanks

Mark

PS Any discount vouchers available :)

    Hello Mark,

    1. You need the "extended" version, it's the only one that includes Multi-tier affiliates
    2. they are the same modules of the frontend (graphics), only that they work in the backend (in joomla, frontend and backend modules are separate installations)
    3. it's this: http://www.joomlathat.com/content-statistics/extended-version
it's the detalied list of all activity recorded by CS, item by item ("who did what and when")

No, no discounts availble at the moment I'm afraid... although if you take the bundle pack, it already includes a discount in the price itself.

    Thanks!

can i configure how deep, or how many child levels to pay out? We dont want to end up with hundreds of children's children. 3 levels deep would be our limit, does your package support this?

there are 12 misspelled words in your product description page. It looks unprofessional, so here is the corrected page content, feel free to paste into your site.

    Multi-level affiliates
The extended version of Affiliate Tracker supports multi-level or multi-tier affiliates. This means that affiliates can have other sub-affiliates as children building a hierarchy in which you can define a commission for each level.
If you want to provide your system the multi-level functionality, you only need to enable Multi-level commissions field in your Affiliate Tracker configuration.
There are two ways to build the hierarchy. Manually for each affiliate or automatically.
    • In order to create it manually, the administrator will need to assign the parent for each user that become an affiliate from its account configuration.
    • To create the hierarchy automatically, you will need to allow users to request new affiliate accounts. The behavior of the system in this case will follow these steps:
    1. A user becomes an affiliate.
    2. This affiliate (the parent) provides an affiliate link to another user.
    3. This other user, visits the website and eventually becomes an affiliate (the child).
    4. Affiliate Tracker detects that this user came from an affiliate link and creates the relationship (parent-child) between these two affiliates.
    5. This child can eventually become the parent of other affiliates. Don't worry if your hierarchy becomes bigger every day, the number of possible levels is infinite, but you can limit the number as well.
    How are the commissions applied
The best way to see this is by an example. Let's see the behavior that the system will adopt for the Invoice Manager plugin commissions:
    1. Imagine we have an affiliate A (parent) and an affiliate B (A's child). And both of them have it's Invoice Manager commission levels set.
    2. When a conversion is created for the affiliate A, the top level commission will be applied to it and anybody else will receive a commission because it hasn't any parents.
    3. However, when a conversion is created for the child (affiliate B), this one will get the top level commission and affiliate A will get the second level commission defined on affiliate A's profile.
    4. If affiliate A had a parent (we already said this is not the case). It's parent would get the third level commission defined on it's profile and this would continue until we find an affiliate without a parent or a parent that hasn't got the corresponding commission level that needs to be applied defined.
